In the night of July 6, Russian forces once again targeted peaceful residents of Ukraine. The cities of Ukrainsk and Pokrovsk were hit by multiple rocket launchers (MRLs) using cluster munitions.
Vadym Filashkin, the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, reported this on his Telegram channel. According to him, the shelling caused significant damage, destroying four two-story buildings and one private house. Tragically, one person was killed, and several others were injured in the attack.
“The enemy continues its insidious war against our people. We are doing everything possible to protect our citizens and save their lives,” Filashkin emphasized.
The local residents are shocked and disheartened but continue to stand together, helping each other in these difficult times. Emergency services are working around the clock, providing assistance to the injured and clearing the debris.
“We will not give up. Each strike only strengthens our resolve to defend our land and our people,” Filashkin added.
This tragedy serves as a stark reminder of the need for international support and solidarity in the fight against the aggressor. Each new attack is not only a test for Ukraine but a challenge for the entire civilized world.
