The 98th Paratrooper Division and the 7th Armored Brigade continue their operations to clear the Shuja’iya neighborhood, located between Gaza City and the Western Negev, of terrorists.

According to the IDF spokesperson, Israeli forces are conducting operations both on the ground and underground in Hamas tunnels. Several tunnel shafts were discovered in Shuja’iya, where mines were neutralized at the entrances and weapons depots, including long-range rockets, were destroyed. An IDF spokesperson stated that this indicates Hamas’s attempts to re-establish themselves in the area. “We have uncovered enemy infrastructure, weapons, and long-range rockets capable of reaching central Israel, as well as mortar shells fired at the Western Negev,” commented an officer from the 890th Paratrooper Battalion.

Earlier today, reports confirmed the destruction of a Hamas group with anti-tank missiles in Shuja’iya. The paratroopers provided coordinates to the Air Force, resulting in the destruction of the group from the air.

Simultaneously, Central Command forces are conducting operations against terrorists in Samaria. Early this morning, IDF forces entered the Balata refugee camp in Nablus. They came under fire and responded accordingly. According to Palestinian sources, six individuals were injured.
