Valery Zaluzhny: A New Stage of Service to Ukraine in Great Britain

The former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valery Zaluzhny, has begun the duties of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. On Thursday, July 11, he announced this in his Telegram channel, emphasizing his unwavering devotion to the Motherland.

“I continue to serve Ukraine,” wrote Zaluzhny, noting that the priority of his activities, as well as the activities of the Embassy, ​​remains the victory of Ukraine. His determination and commitment to the cause of national security now found a new expression in the diplomatic sphere.

After taking up his duties, Zaluzhnyi solemnly presented copies of credentials to the Vice-Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps, accredited to the Royal Palace, to the head of the protocol division of the Foreign Office, Victoria Busby. This symbolic act marks the beginning of his official diplomatic mission to Great Britain.

Valery Zaluzhnyi, known for his determination and strategic thinking, will now represent the interests of Ukraine in an important international arena. His experience and confidence in victory will be a significant contribution to strengthening Ukrainian-British relations and supporting Ukraine in its struggle for sovereignty and territorial integrity.
