The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, expressed his gratitude to the President of the United States, Joseph Biden, for the decision to strengthen the air defense of Ukraine. On his Telegram channel, Zelensky noted:
“We appreciate US President Joseph Biden’s decision to strengthen our air defense – five new Patriots and dozens of other systems. A strong decision that will help us fight Russian terror. Thank you to President Biden, the team, the administration, Congress – both parties, both chambers – and the entire American people for the vital support of the people of Ukraine. Together we save the lives of our people.”
This decision will significantly strengthen Ukraine’s defense capabilities, providing it with additional opportunities to counter Russian aggression. The delivery of new air defense systems, including five Patriot complexes, is an important step in ensuring the safety of Ukrainian citizens.
