Time Ukraine Israel reports, referring to Newsru.co.il, about the events of the 280th day of the “Iron Swords” war, which Israel is conducting against terrorist organizations in Gaza, Judea and Samaria, as well as in Lebanon, starting on October 7, 2023.
The IDF continues its ground operation in Gaza, destroying Hamas infrastructure and eliminating militants. Military and border police forces operate in Judea and Samaria. In response to rocket attacks and drone attacks, the Israeli army strikes Hezbollah targets in Lebanon and Syria.

War “Iron Swords”
The war began on October 7, 2023, with massive rocket attacks on the central areas of Israel from Gaza and the invasion of thousands of militants into Israeli territory. As a result of the attack, more than a thousand civilians, hundreds of policemen and military personnel were killed. Hundreds of people were captured, many of whom are still being held in Gaza.
Since the beginning of the war, terrorists have launched about 10,000 rockets from Gaza and about 5,000 rockets from Lebanon. Israel is carrying out heavy strikes on targets in Gaza, Lebanon and Syria. In the course of the fighting, the IDF suffered significant losses – about 330 servicemen were killed since the beginning of the ground operation in Gaza.
According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, more than 38,000 people have been killed and about 87,000 injured since the start of the war. The UN reports that about 1.7 million residents of the Gaza Strip have been forced to leave their homes.
