Yuri Vlasenko Appointed New Head of the NCRECP

As reported by the NCRECP Telegram channel, on August 2, 2024, members of the National Commission for State Regulation in the Spheres of Energy and Public Utilities (NCRECP) elected a new Chairman during a closed meeting. Following a secret ballot, the role of NCRECP Chairman was entrusted to Yuri Vlasenko.

Yuri Vlasenko brings over 20 years of experience in the energy sector. Throughout his career, he has held various positions in the Electricity Regulatory Commission and NCRECP, demonstrating deep understanding and expertise in energy regulation.

From May 2021 to July 2024, Vlasenko served as the First Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine. During this time, he established himself as a highly skilled professional and effective leader. His significant contributions to the development of Ukraine’s energy sector are recognized and supported by his colleagues.

Vlasenko’s appointment as Chairman of NCRECP opens new prospects for the development of Ukraine’s energy industry. His extensive experience and professional knowledge will help the regulator effectively address current issues and support the stable functioning of the energy sector.
