The terrorist organization Hezbollah issued its third official statement since the conflict began, declaring that “the operation is concluded for today.” The statement asserts that Israel’s claims of preventive actions contradict the facts on the ground and will be refuted in today’s speech by the group’s leader, Hassan Nasrallah.

“All combat drones were launched at the designated time, crossed the border, and struck their targets. The enemy’s claims of thwarting the resistance attack are false,” the Hezbollah statement reads. The organization also claimed to have conducted a disinformation operation, allegedly hitting a key target deep inside Israeli territory.

Sources close to Hezbollah report that the organization is currently assessing the outcomes of its actions and is planning further steps based on the evolving situation.

Meanwhile, an hour earlier, Israel reported that the attack had ended and that there were no plans to expand the operation. According to the IDF, Hezbollah is now evaluating the situation, addressing damage, and will make decisions on retaliatory actions accordingly.

A correspondent for Al Jazeera reported that this morning’s Israeli airstrikes targeted the city of Zabkin and the surrounding areas of Deir Seryan in southern Lebanon. According to Lebanon’s official news agency and a security source, an Israeli airstrike on a vehicle in the city of Khiam in southern Lebanon killed one person today.
