In the spring of 2024, a factory of the German company Quantum-Systems, specializing in the production of unmanned Vector complexes, which are already actively used by the Defense Forces, became operational in Ukraine. This decision was a significant step in expanding the company’s production capabilities outside of Germany and an important event for the Ukrainian defense industry.

According to “Military” information, at the initial stage, the Ukrainian plant is engaged in assembling drones from components arriving from Germany. However, the company plans to gradually localize production, which will allow manufacturing more structural elements directly in Ukraine.

Today, production is focused on the assembly of reconnaissance drones, which are equipped with Ukrainian-made wings and CRPA antennas for receiving a satellite signal. In the future, Quantum-Systems plans to establish the production of the fuselage and other key components of drones in Ukraine.

This discovery was an important step for strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities, and also shows the growing cooperation between Ukrainian and European companies in the field of technology and defense. The local production base will not only ensure a stable supply of unmanned systems for the Ukrainian military, but will also contribute to the development of innovations and strengthening of the country’s economy.

The expansion of drone production in Ukraine reflects global trends of strengthening defense capabilities through cooperation with international partners and localization of production processes. It is also an important signal to other foreign investors that high-tech products can be created in Ukraine even in difficult conditions.
