Following the information that Iran was supplying Russia’s ballistic missiles in Ukraine, the head of the European Union Foreign Policy, Josep Borrel, confirmed that the EU was considering imposing sanctions against the Iranian aviation sector, as reports by Israelinfo.

In his statement, he explained: “The European Union has repeatedly and strongly warned Iran of the inadmissibility of transferring ballistic missiles of Russia. The EU will respond quickly and in coordination with international partners. The sanction list will be included in individuals and organizations involved in the Iranian programs of ballistic missiles and drones, and this is also considered restrictions in the Iran aviation sector. ”

The EU Foreign Policy Service Representative also noted at a press conference in Brussels that the European Union’s reaction would be “unforgettable”.

According to him, the EU has received “reliable information from partners on the supply of Iran missiles of Russia.”

Earlier, Iran has already been informed that in the event of an EU evidence proof of supply, there would be serious consequences. However, the high -ranking leader of the Corps of the Crafts of the Islamic Revolution Fadlallah Nozari considered these warnings only a “psychological war”.

A few days ago, US Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken, stated that Washington intends to impose new sanctions against the Islamic Republic, adding that he was waiting for similar actions from allies. Among the possible goals of sanctions is Iran Air. This week, France, Germany and the United Kingdom were announced to impose new sanctions against Iran.
