The United States continues to provide substantial support to Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression. According to U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, a new, major aid package is set to be announced by the end of September, quoted by Interfax-Ukraine.

Speaking at the Yalta European Strategy (YES) forum, Sullivan revealed that the U.S. is working on a package that will include enhanced capabilities for Ukraine’s military, aimed at strengthening the country’s defense against Russian forces. He emphasized that Washington is doing everything possible to equip Ukraine with the tools necessary to stabilize the front lines and ensure Russian offensives face fierce resistance.

“We are meeting daily with the team to ensure Ukraine has what it needs to hold the line, and that Russian attacks are met with strong opposition,” Sullivan stated.

He highlighted that despite early concerns about potential breakthroughs in Ukraine’s defenses, the Ukrainian military has proven resilient and has fortified key positions, advancing with decisive steps in the war.

Sullivan also addressed the delays in aid delivery, noting that logistical challenges, not political will, were the primary cause. He cited the decision to redirect all Patriot missiles initially intended for other U.S. partners to Ukraine as an example of their commitment.
