Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made a brief statement regarding the defense situation in the north of the country, as reported by 9tv.
“In recent days, we have struck Hezbollah with blows they could never have imagined. And if Hezbollah hasn’t yet understood the message, I assure you, they soon will. We are firmly committed to ensuring the residents of the north can return to their homes and live safely. No country in the world would tolerate attacks on its population, attacks on its cities. And we in Israel will not tolerate it. We will do whatever it takes to restore security,” Netanyahu said.
