On September 25, China’s People’s Liberation Army successfully launched an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) towards international waters in the Pacific Ocean. According to China Central Television (CCTV), the missile, equipped with a mock warhead, accurately landed in a pre-designated area.
The launch was part of China’s annual missile force exercises, aimed at testing weapon readiness and the proficiency of military specialists. China had previously informed neighboring countries about the ICBM test to prevent any potential international misunderstandings.
