The body of Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah was recovered from the group’s command center following an Israeli airstrike on Friday, according to The Time of Israel. The sources reported that Nasrallah’s body was found intact, with initial findings indicating blunt force trauma caused by the explosion as the likely cause of death.

On Saturday, Hezbollah officially confirmed Nasrallah’s death but did not disclose the exact circumstances of how he was killed or details about his funeral. Israeli military spokesperson Avichay Adraee had earlier announced the death of Nasrallah a day after Israel’s strike on the southern suburbs of Beirut.

Hezbollah vowed to continue its fight against Israel, reaffirming its support for Gaza, Palestine, and the defense of Lebanon. Reports from Lebanese sources suggest that Ali Karake, the third-highest ranking leader in Hezbollah, was also killed alongside Nasrallah.

Additionally, senior Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps General Abbas Nilforoushan was killed in the attack, according to Iranian state media reports.
