Israeli military kills one of Hezbollah’s leaders during attack on Beirut

Ізраїльські військові ліквідували одного з лідерів "Хезболли" під час атаки на Бейрут

On Monday, during an attack on Beirut, the Israeli military killed one of the leading commanders of the radical Hezbollah group, Suheil Hussein Husseini. This was reported by SkyNews, citing a statement by the Israeli army.

According to the Israeli army, Husseini played a key role in the logistics and coordination of various Hezbollah units. He was responsible for supplying weapons from Iran to Hezbollah and distributing advanced military equipment to the militants.

“In addition, he was a member of the Jihad Council, one of Hezbollah’s highest military leadership bodies,” the Israeli army said in an official statement.

It is also reported that Husseini played a key role in the budgetary and logistical management of Hezbollah’s most sensitive projects, including special operations aimed at coordinating terrorist attacks against Israel in Lebanon and Syria. He was involved in the research, development and production of precision-guided rockets used in attacks on Israeli cities.

Against the backdrop of the escalating conflict, Hezbollah fired rockets at the Israeli city of Haifa, Israel’s third largest city, on Monday. This comes amid Israel’s readiness to expand its military operations against Lebanon, especially after the anniversary of Hamas’s devastating attack on Israeli territory that triggered the long-running war in Gaza.
