Deputy Secretary General of Hezbollah Naim Qassem has once again said that Israel’s actions are aimed at “destroying people” and that the organisation is not afraid of pressure from the Zionists. This was reported by cursorinfo portal.

Hezbollah’s reaction to Israeli actions

Qassem described Operation Flood of Al-Aqsa as an “exceptional event” that opens a new stage in the development of the situation in the Middle East. According to him, the goal of the Israeli operation is to destroy not only the resistance, but also the civilisation of the peoples who seek freedom.

Assessment of the situation in Gaza

Naim Qassem emphasised that Israel’s actions cannot be called a war; they are the deliberate destruction of nations seeking independence. He also noted that without US support, the “Israeli aggression” could have lasted much longer. Qassem noted the resilience of the Palestinian resistance in Gaza, calling it “classic” and assured that the “people in crisis” cannot be broken.

Lebanon under threat

Qassem noted that Lebanon is also the object of Israeli plans, referring to Benjamin Netanyahu’s statements about the creation of a “New Middle East”. He believes that Israel seeks to subjugate all countries in the region to its policy, and its actions have historical overtones that indicate its aggressive intentions.

Condolences to Lebanese refugees

Expressing sympathy for the Lebanese IDPs, Qassem stressed that their suffering is part of the sacrifices made by the people. He also supported the efforts of parliamentary speaker Nabih Berri, who is an ally of Hezbollah, to secure a ceasefire, but did not provide details on the conditions set by the organisation.

The situation in the Middle East remains tense, and Qassem’s statements indicate Hezbollah’s readiness to actively respond to threats from Israel. In the face of growing aggression, it is important to stay informed and understand how such statements can affect security and stability in the region.
