Sunday, 13 October 2024, marks the 373rd day of the Iron Swords War, which Israel is waging against terrorist organisations in the Gaza Strip, Lebanon, Syria, as well as Judea and Samaria. The fighting began on 7 October 2023. IDF ground troops are active in Lebanon, and the Israeli Air Force conducts massive strikes on Lebanese territories in response to Hezbollah rocket attacks. The IDF reported seriously wounding two soldiers in fighting in southern Lebanon. One is an officer and the other a reservist in the 9220th Battalion, 6th Etzion Brigade. They were taken to the Galil Hospital in Nagariya. At the same time, the hospital admitted 17 other soldiers with injuries of varying severity.

An operation in southern Lebanon uncovered an underground shelter 7 metres deep where an armed Hizbullah militant was hiding. He was captured and transported to Israeli territory for interrogation.
