Ukrainian Armed Forces carry out precision strikes on occupants’ positions
The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to carry out precision strikes against key targets of Russian troops in the temporarily occupied territories. The latest strike was on a training ground of the Russian military in Zaporizhzhia region, using rocket artillery with GMLRS M30A1 DPICM ammunition. These precision-guided munitions are designed to engage enemy manpower by carrying large amounts of pre-formed fragments.

Successful attacks on enemy training grounds in 2024
In early September 2024, Ukrainian forces attacked a training ground near Donetsk with about 50 occupants. The training ground is located 25 kilometres from the front line, near the Donetsk ring road. According to preliminary information, the strike resulted in dozens of Russian military deaths, but official casualty figures have not yet been confirmed.
Other successful operations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Zaporizhzhia region
In August 2024, the Armed Forces of Ukraine also struck another training ground in Zaporizhzhia region, where large occupation forces were concentrated. Thanks to the intelligence received from the crew of the 422nd Separate Luftwaffe Unmanned Systems Battalion, the coordinates of the Russian troop concentration were accurately established. After passing this data to the HIMARS calculations, Ukrainian artillery destroyed significant enemy forces.
