On Thursday, former US President Donald Trump accused Volodymyr Zelenskyy of fuelling the war between Ukraine and Russia, a likely indication of his plans to change US policy towards Ukraine, Reuters reports.
During the election campaign, Trump repeatedly criticised Zelenskyy, calling him “the greatest salesman on Earth” for requesting military aid from the US. On the PBD podcast, he said that the Ukrainian leader was guilty not only of failing to end the war, but also of starting it.
Trump also suggested that Ukraine could be forced to cede territory to Russia to achieve peace, which is unacceptable to Kyiv.
