The morning of 19 October brought new tensions to the security situation in Israel. According to the Times of Israel, several drones were launched from Lebanon, one of which targeted the residence of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Caesarea. Netanyahu and his wife Sarah were not at home, and fortunately, no one was injured in the incident.

According to a statement from Netanyahu’s office, the drone attack on their private residence was clearly planned from Lebanon. The attack provoked concern among local residents who witnessed the massive explosions.

Israeli air defences immediately came to the defence of civilians, shooting down two more drones targeting Tel Aviv. As a result of the shelling, alarms sounded throughout the region, forcing citizens to seek shelter.

These events highlight the ongoing tensions between Israel and its neighbours and raise questions about the future steps of both sides in the search for a sustainable peaceful solution. International observers have noted the growing frequency and intensity of such incidents, which could increase risks for the entire region.
