On the night of 20 October, the Russian occupiers launched a massive attack on Kyiv using attack drones. The head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Serhiy Popko , said that air defence systems had successfully neutralised about ten drones that were moving towards the capital in “several waves”.
During the night, an air alert was announced twice, with a total duration of about three hours. Popko noted that there is no information on damage or casualties at the moment, and that all the drones were shot down on the outskirts of the city and over Kyiv.
The exact number and type of enemy drones will be released by the Ukrainian Air Force Command later. The situation is currently under control, and the operational update is still being updated.
