20 October 2024 – The Iron Swords war has been going on for 380 days. The Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) continues offensive operations against terrorist organisations in the Gaza Strip, Lebanon, as well as in Judea, Samaria and Syria. This was reported by newsru.co.il.
Fighting on the Lebanese front and IDF attacks
A ground operation involving IDF units continues on the southern front of Lebanon. The Israeli Air Force conducts regular air strikes on the targets of the Hezbollah terrorist organisation. Despite the intense shelling, terrorists continue to launch rockets and attack using drones.
Units of the IDF’s 146th, 91st, 36th and 98th divisions are operating in various parts of southern Lebanon. The troops, in particular the Golani Brigade and the Egoz Special Forces, are eliminating Hezbollah terrorist cells. Over the past day, the Israeli Air Force attacked more than 175 targets in Lebanon and Gaza, killing more than 65 militants.

12:00: Rocket alert in the Misgav Am area on the border with Lebanon. At 12:26, a threat signal was also recorded in Qatzrin in the southern Golan Heights.
11:00: A series of rocket alarms sounded in Rosh Hashanah, Nagariya, Acre, Betzet and other towns in northern Israel. According to the police, there were no deaths or injuries. At the same time, it is reported that at least 70 rockets were launched from Lebanon. Fire brigades are working to extinguish fires caused by the fall of rockets and anti-missile debris.
