On the night of 21 October, Russian troops carried out an air strike on a critical infrastructure facility in the Romny district of Sumy region. As a result of the attack, several settlements were left without electricity. This was reported by the press service of the regional military administration (RMA).
According to the JMA, the Russians continue to target the region’s infrastructure. “Last night, on 21 October, the enemy launched an air strike on the critical infrastructure of the Romny district,” the official statement said.
The shelling caused a power outage in several localities. Emergency services are currently working to restore power supply and eliminate the consequences of the shelling.
The local authorities assure us that the power supply is being restored promptly and will be restored soon.
