The Military Intelligence of Ukraine (GUR) has made an important statement, warning of the preparation of provocative rallies in major cities such as Kyiv, Odesa, Dnipro and other regional centres. According to the report, anonymous accounts on the Telegram messenger are actively looking for people who are ready to take to the streets for money to participate in these actions, TimeUkraineIsrael reports with reference to Meta.

According to intelligence, these rallies are not intended to defend any public interests, but rather to discredit the military and political leadership of Ukraine, including the special services. Participants are encouraged to take photos and videos of the provocative actions to create a manipulative “picture” that would contribute to social polarisation and increase tension in the country.

The DIU calls on Ukrainians to be cautious and conscious, avoiding participation in events that could harm national security. The agency’s statement emphasises the importance of unity and vigilance in times of war: “Let’s be wise, strong and ready to resist threats. The fight for Ukraine continues!”

The situation in Ukraine remains difficult, and such provocations can seriously affect the stability of society. The DIU continues to monitor the developments and calls on citizens to respond consciously to the information disseminated through social media.
