According to the latest report by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) continue to advance in several strategic areas, including Kursk and Donetsk regions, while Russian forces are attacking near Kreminna and Siversk. Ukrainian forces are known to have advanced near the Snahost River north of Daryino, holding positions in the area. Russian forces also claim to be advancing in the Kharkiv, Luhansk and Donetsk regions, but these claims have not yet been confirmed by ISW.
In the eastern part of Ukraine, particularly in the Kharkiv sector, Russian troops intensified attacks near Vovchansk and Starytsia, while in the Luhansk region they continued offensive operations on the left bank of the Zherebets River. The Russians seized control of Novosadove, which allowed them to improve their positions and prepare for future operations.
In Donetsk region, intense fighting continues near Toretsk, where Ukrainian forces have regained control of several positions. Russian troops have reportedly intensified attacks around Selydove and Pokrovsk, but ISW has no evidence of significant successes in this region.
Separately, it is noted that Russian forces continue to advance in the western part of Zaporizhzhia region, in particular near Robotyn, although their advance remains limited.
