As of mid-day, the number of combat engagements along the entire frontline reached 125, continuing to grow as a result of active actions by Russian troops. The occupiers are using aviation, including guided aerial bombs, to strike in various directions in eastern and southern Ukraine, in particular in the Pokrovske and Kurakhove directions. Ukraine’s defence forces are holding defensive lines and taking all necessary measures to prevent the enemy from breaking through. This is reported by the TimeUkraineIsrael news portal with reference to the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Shelling in Chernihiv and Sumy regions
The occupiers do not stop shelling Chernihiv and Sumy regions, attacking settlements, including Novovasylivka, Stara Huta, Basivka, Liskivshchyna, Pokrovka, Ulanove, Boyaro-Lezhachi and Bobylivka. At the same time, enemy aircraft attacked Bobylivka, causing significant damage.
According to preliminary data, the enemy carried out 18 air strikes on the territory of Kursk region using 24 combat aircraft.
Hostilities in Kharkiv region and Kupyansk direction
Two combat engagements were recorded in the Kharkiv sector today, where Ukrainian forces successfully repelled enemy attacks near Vovchansk. In the Kupyansk sector, our troops repelled two assault attacks near Holubivka, and fighting is currently ongoing in the area of Vyshneve.
Liman and Siverskyi directions
In the Liman sector, the enemy continues to attack in the areas of Hrekivka, Ternove and Torske, 19 combat engagements were recorded since the beginning of the day, four of which are still ongoing. In the Siverskyi sector, the occupants tried to advance in Ivano-Daryivka and Vyymka, three combat engagements took place.
Fighting in the Kramatorsk and Toretsk areas
In the Kramatorsk sector, fighting continues in Chasovyi Yar, where the enemy is trying to take the positions of Ukrainian defenders by launching air strikes on Novoyehorivka. In the Toretsk sector, with the support of attack and bomber aircraft, the enemy is attacking the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, fighting continues in the Toretsk area, where 5 dumps of unexploded ordnance were recorded.
Situation in the Pokrovske and Kurakhove directions
The most fierce fighting is taking place in the Pokrovsk sector, where the enemy launched 35 assault attacks in the areas of Selydove, Krasniy Yar, Krutiy Yar, Lysivka and Myroliubivka. In the Kurakhove sector, 5 combat engagements are ongoing, in which Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled 20 enemy attacks.
Vremivske and Orikhivske directions
In the Vremivsk sector, 10 repelled enemy attacks were recorded in the areas of Bohoyavlenka and Novoukrainka, where seven attacks are ongoing. In the Orikhivsk sector, the occupants are actively using aviation, striking at Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka and Mala Tokmachka, dropping 13 UAVs.
