The Intelligence Agency of the People of Ukraine (PIA) reported on its Telegram channel that Andrey Cheremysinov, known as a participant in the Russian TV programme What? Where? When? According to PIA, this programme was part of a wider FSS project to manipulate public opinion and spread Kremlin propaganda.
Cheremisinov’s main activity was not limited to participation in the intellectual show. He served as an adviser to the head of the Russian corporation Rosatom on information projects. His work focused on communication strategies and the development of media projects, which were actively used by Russia to strengthen its information influence both inside and outside the country.
The Intelligence Agency of the People of Ukraine notes that this step is another element of countering Russian information terror and attempts to impose its interests through media manipulation. The elimination of key individuals involved in propaganda at the strategic level is considered an important step in ensuring the information security of Ukraine and other states that are subject to Russian aggression.
