Over the past day, 149 combat engagements took place in the frontline, 48 of them in the Kurakhove sector. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Attacks and shelling in different directions

The enemy continues massive shelling and air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas. A missile strike and 93 air strikes were recorded, including 67 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the enemy carried out more than 4,800 attacks, including 148 from multiple launch rocket systems. Kamikaze drones are being actively used – more than 1,600 in total per day.

In the Kharkiv sector, the enemy initiated four combat engagements near Vovchansk. In the Kupyansk sector, 13 attacks were registered, in particular in the vicinity of Kolisnykivka, Sinkivka and Lozova. Ukrainian troops stopped 15 hostile attacks in the vicinity of Hrekivka, Zarichne and Terny in the Liman sector.

Kurakhove direction under intense pressure

The situation in the Kurakhove sector remains particularly tense. The enemy tried to break through the defensive lines 48 times in the areas of Zoryane, Maksymilianivka and Novodmitrivka, but our defenders are confidently holding back the attack.

Offensive actions in other areas

In the Vremivsk sector, 12 enemy attempts to seize Ukrainian positions near Bohoyavlenka and Novoukrainka were recorded. In the Prydniprovskyi sector, the occupants made two unsuccessful attacks. The operational situation in the Volyn and Polissya sectors remained unchanged. In the Siversky, Huliaipil and Orikhivske directions, the enemy did not conduct active offensive actions, but carried out attacks using drones and guided aerial bombs.

Active actions of Ukrainian defenders in the Kursk region

Ukrainian troops continue to deplete enemy forces in the Kursk region by conducting air strikes and using guided missiles. According to the General Staff, the enemy carried out 37 air strikes on its territory, using 54 bombs.

Enemy losses

The Russian army lost 1,360 people over the past day. Ukrainian aviation, missile forces and artillery struck at enemy concentration areas, command and control points, ammunition depots and important targets.
