The IDF, the Israeli Defence Forces, has announced the elimination of two senior Hezbollah commanders, Musa Izz al-Din and Hassan Majid Daib, who coordinated fire attacks against Israel. These actions came after more than 400 rockets were fired at Israel in October.
The strike targeted positions in the Tyre area, where both commanders were identified and neutralised. Musa Izz al-Din was in charge of Hezbollah forces in the coastal sector, and Hassan Majid Daib was in control of the artillery used to fire on the Gulf of Haifa.
Over the past 24 hours, the IDF has actively attacked more than 120 terrorist targets in Lebanon and the Gaza Strip, including anti-tank missile launchers, military bases, weapons depots and command centres belonging to both Hezbollah and Hamas.
The IDF’s actions also included localised raids in southern Lebanon, where weapons were found and destroyed, and Hezbollah infrastructure was dismantled in cooperation with the Israeli Air Force. In the Gaza Strip, especially in the Jabalia and Rafah areas, the IDF conducted a number of ground and air operations, during which dozens of terrorists were killed.
The message is accompanied by links to photographs and videos of IDF activities that demonstrate the scale and effectiveness of the operations.
