One person was killed in the shelling of a suburb of Kherson, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reports. Rescuers, who promptly arrived at the scene after receiving a call, found the body of a woman in a destroyed room of a house.
The body was recovered from the rubble of the destroyed building. This incident once again highlights the tragic consequences that civilians suffer every day as a result of the ongoing shelling.
The situation in and around Kherson remains tense and local residents live in constant fear for their lives and health. Rescue services continue to work in a highly dangerous environment, trying to provide assistance and support to all those in need.
