In Sumy region, Russian troops fired 11 times at border communities during the night and morning, as reported by the Sumy Regional Military Administration (RMA) on its Telegram channel. The attacks affected several border communities in the region, including Khotyn, Yunakiv, Konotop and Shostka.

The main details of the shelling:

• A rocket attack was recorded in Konotop community, which caused an explosion and started a fire in the garden.
• The enemy carried out two air strikes using guided aerial bombs in Khotyn community, and four explosions occurred in Yunakivska community as a result of similar attacks.
• The Shostka community suffered from an unmanned aerial vehicle strike, which damaged non-residential premises.

In addition, air defence units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Territorial Defence Forces, the National Guard and volunteers detected and destroyed 11 enemy Shahed drones in the sky over Sumy region.
