On 3 November, the operational dispatch service of the Vyshgorod district received two alarming reports of fires that broke out almost simultaneously. According to the TimeUkraineIsrael news portal, citing the Kyiv Oblast State Emergency Service, the fire claimed the lives of two people.
Fire in Hlibivka
The first fire was reported at 05:53, when the fire engulfed the roof and ceiling of a residential building at the address: Hlibivka village, Lesya Ukrainka Street, in the Dymer territorial community. The 38th State Fire and Rescue Unit from the village of Dymer and the 55th State Fire and Rescue Post from the village of Sukholuchchia were immediately sent to the scene.
Arriving at the scene, the rescuers found that the fire had already spread widely, and unfortunately, the body of a deceased woman was found inside the house. The fire was extinguished at 07:28, with 10 rescuers and 2 units of equipment involved. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
Fire in Vyshhorod
The second fire was reported at 06:22 a.m. from the town of Vyshgorod, where the fire broke out on Kurguzova Street. The 37th State Fire and Rescue Unit was sent to the scene. Rescuers arrived to find a fire in one of the unused rooms of a four-storey building.
Unfortunately, the body of a man was found while extinguishing the fire. The fire was extinguished at 06:58 a.m., with 7 rescuers and 2 pieces of equipment involved. The cause of the fire is also under investigation.
These tragic events are a reminder of the importance of complying with fire safety rules. The Rescue Service is doing everything possible to prevent such incidents in the future, but citizens themselves need to be careful and cautious. Sad statistics show that fire can cause serious losses, and each case needs to be thoroughly investigated to avoid a recurrence of tragedies.
