The Canadian Armed Forces demonstrated the process of training Ukrainian servicemen in tactical medicine. Canadian instructors, who actively support Ukraine as part of international military assistance, share their experience in providing first aid in combat conditions. The training covers a wide range of skills, from providing assistance under fire to evacuating the wounded. This is stated on the page of the Canadian training mission UNIFIER on the social network X.
This training, organised as part of the Operation UNIFIER mission, aims to strengthen the ability of Ukrainian soldiers to respond quickly and effectively to injuries, which is critical on the front line. The tactical medicine training helps Ukrainian defenders to master the algorithms of actions during combat operations, as well as improve coordination of units during evacuation and stabilisation of casualties before arrival at the base.
Thanks to Canada’s support, Ukrainian servicemen are acquiring extremely important skills that help save lives in difficult combat conditions.
