Lvivske Rozhdestvenske in wrong bottles is being recalled from sale in Ukraine
Carlsberg Ukraine has decided to recall part of a batch of Lvivske Rozhdestvenske beer from the market due to a defect in the glass bottles. This was reported by the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection.
It is noted that during an internal inspection, a defect was found in a limited batch of products produced in 0.5-litre glass containers – a problematic glass seam between the sides of the bottle. This is a batch with a production date of 03.10.2024.
Although the control checks did not reveal any damage to the finished product, the company decided to withdraw the bottles with the defect from circulation to prevent risks to consumers. In accordance with the law, Carlsberg Ukraine notified the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection of the decision and initiated a recall.
Consumers who have purchased beer with a production date of 03.10.2024 (from 09:00 to 12:00 or from 18:00 to 19:00) are asked not to open the bottle and not to consume the product. Bottles can be returned to the place of purchase or contact the manufacturer’s hotline at 0800 3000 80.
The company also informs its partners about the termination of the sale of the said batch and ensures its withdrawal from circulation.
