Tuesday, 5 November 2024, marks the 396th day of the Iron Swords war, which Israel has been waging against terrorist groups in Gaza, Judea, Samaria, Lebanon and Syria since 7 October 2023. This is reported by TimeUkraineIsrael portal with reference to Newsru.co.il.
The Israeli army continues to strike at Hezbollah positions in Lebanon, while conducting operations in the Gaza Strip, Judea and Samaria. IDF aviation is actively involved in precision strikes against terrorists, and ground forces are also used.

The alarm has been sounded in the border settlement of Manara. Palestinian sources report Israeli drone strikes on targets in the Al-Jalaa and Al-Ghufra areas of Gaza City. Alarms were also heard in and around Kiryat Shmona.

The Tzeva Adom system was activated in the settlement of Margaliot near the Lebanese border.

According to Lebanese sources, the IDF conducted an air strike on a facility in the city of Tula, located in southern Lebanon, approximately 18 km from the border.

The pro-Iranian group Islamic Resistance of Iraq claimed a UAV attack on a “vital facility” in northern Israel and another target in the south. Iraqi Islamists reported that they attacked a total of six targets in Israel during the day. Sources in Gaza added that the Israeli army was using robots to blow up buildings in Jabaliya in the northern Gaza Strip.

Israeli forces continue their ground operation in Gaza, attacking numerous targets and eliminating terrorists. In the Rafiah area in the south, the Nahal Brigade discovered hundreds of weapons, including rocket-propelled grenades, mines and assault rifles. The 162nd Division successfully operated in the Jabaliyah area, killing dozens of terrorists.
Operations in other areas
Israel’s 36th and 91st divisions continue fighting in southern Lebanon, conducting numerous strikes on enemy targets. During the operations, weapons were seized, and armoured vehicles and aircraft were used.
In Judea, Israeli forces detained a Hebron resident suspected of financing terrorism. About NIS 1.1 million in cash was found in his car. According to Israeli sources, the suspect has long been wanted by the Shabak on suspicion of terrorist activity.
