Ukraine is ready to continue active cooperation with the Donald Trump administration, which won the US election, in order to strengthen its strategic partnership with the United States and bring a comprehensive and just peace closer.
Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga expressed these intentions on social media platform X, stressing the importance of a constructive dialogue between the presidents of Ukraine and the United States.
“President Zelenskyy and President Trump have a strong and productive dialogue, and we will continue to work together to further strengthen the Ukraine-U.S. relationship. Our goal is to bring the peace process closer to achievement, building on the strong leadership of the United States,” Sybiga said.
This position demonstrates Ukraine’s readiness to maintain close ties with the new US President in the context of the ongoing struggle for stability and security in Ukraine and in the international arena.
