Members of the National Guard of Ukraine destroyed a Russian Buk-M1 anti-aircraft missile system discovered during reconnaissance operations in one of the hottest spots on the frontline. This was announced by the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ihor Klymenko, on 16 November, Kyiv Independent reports .
According to him, a unit of attack drones of the 27th Pechersk Brigade of the National Guard successfully destroyed a Russian anti-aircraft missile system, which, depending on the modification, could cost up to $100 million.
“The enemy’s equipment was destroyed by an accurate strike,” Klymenko said, noting that this result is a significant victory in one of the most tense frontline areas.
