The Russian army has stockpiled missiles for several massive attacks and continues to accumulate them, but Ukraine is ready to counter.

This was reported by the head of the Centre for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine, Andriy Kovalenko, on his Telegram channel.

“The enemy has stockpiled missiles for several massive attacks and continues to accumulate them. Ukraine is aware of the enemy’s strategy and is ready. The enemy is now scaling up the results of this attack with information. Thanks to air defence, the enemy’s military commanders’ estimates are not true,” Kovalenko said.

The head of the Centre stressed that Russian propaganda is trying to exaggerate the effectiveness of its attacks in order to undermine confidence in the Ukrainian air defence system.

The day before, Ukrainian air defence forces repelled another wave of Russian strikes, protecting critical infrastructure and civilians from destruction.

The Ukrainian command continues to urge citizens not to ignore air raid warnings and to trust only official sources of information.
