The fiercest battles: the geography of the frontline
Pokrovsky direction
It was here that the occupiers concentrated their main efforts, but were stopped near Promin, Lysivka, Petrivka and Dachenske.
Kurakhivske direction
Ukrainian defenders thwarted 23 attempts by the occupiers to break through, including in the areas of Novoselydivka, Berestky and Kurakhove.
Vremivske direction
The occupiers carried out 15 attacks, including near Trudove, Rozdolne and Sukhi Yaliv, but none of them were successful.
Liman and Kupyansk directions
The enemy actively attacked in these areas, but received a powerful rebuff. The occupants conducted 11 attacks in the Kupyansk sector and 14 in the Liman sector.
Strategic advantage for the Armed Forces of Ukraine
Despite constant assaults, the enemy did not succeed. Meanwhile, Ukrainian artillery and missile forces delivered devastating blows, depriving the Russians of important resources.
Ukraine is not only defending its territory, but also gradually depleting the enemy’s military potential. The successes at the front demonstrate the power and cohesion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which daily prove their ability to defend the country’s independence and territorial integrity.
The war is ongoing, but the light of victory is already shining through the darkness.
