Russian aggressors have launched another missile attack on Dnipro, causing destruction of civilian infrastructure and residential buildings. According to the head of the Dnipro Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak, two people were injured in the attack on 21 November, and several facilities, including a rehabilitation centre for people with disabilities, were seriously damaged.
Target – social facilities and the private sector
A rocket strike damaged a rehabilitation centre where:
- The boiler house was partially destroyed;
- Dozens of windows were smashed.
Fortunately, the people in the centre were kept safe and there were no injuries. At the same time, the blast wave hit an industrial enterprise, which suffered significant damage.
In the residential sector, the rocket caused a fire in two private houses, one of which was seriously damaged. The flames were extinguished thanks to the prompt work of rescuers.
In addition, an explosion in a garage cooperative caused a fire that engulfed nine garages.
Wounded and assistance to the victims
Two residents of the city were injured in the attack:
- Doctors examined the 57-year-old man on the spot;
- The 42-year-old woman was hospitalised with serious injuries.
Emergency services are working on the ground, and the National Police are recording the damage. Volunteers and charitable organisations are actively involved in helping the victims. They are providing the necessary materials for urgent repairs to homes, as well as psychological support for those who survived the attack.
“We continue to help everyone affected by this brutal attack. I urge everyone not to ignore the air raid alerts – it can save lives,” emphasised Sergey Lysak.
