On the morning of 21 November, Russian troops attacked Kryvyi Rih, causing significant destruction and numerous injuries. This was reported by the head of the Dnipro Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak, and the head of the Kryvyi Rih Defence Council, Oleksandr Vilkul.

According to Lysak, the strike damaged an administrative building and two residential two-storey buildings. Two people were reported injured: A 32-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman. Both are in hospital in moderate condition.

A little later, Oleksandr Vilkul clarified the information, reporting 13 victims, including two children. Four adults, according to him, are in serious condition. “According to preliminary information, about 10 residential buildings were damaged. All victims are being provided with the necessary medical care,” he said.

The strike severely damaged the city’s residential infrastructure, posing a threat to the safety of local residents. Rescue services, medics and utility crews are on the scene to deal with the aftermath of the attack and help the victims.

The city authorities are urging residents to stay in shelters during air raid alerts and to promptly report new threats. Additional aid stations have been set up in the city for the victims.
