22 November 2024, the 413th day of the Iron Swords War, which Israel has been waging against terrorist organisations in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, Lebanon and Syria since 7 October 2023. This was reported by Time Ukraine Israel, citing Newsru.co.il.
Timeline of events on 22 November 2024:
12:00 – Alert in border settlements
The “Tzeva Adom” alert was sounded in the settlements of Metula and Margaliot on the border with Lebanon due to the threat of UAV infiltration. An alert was issued in Shula due to a missile threat.
Lebanese sources report that the Israeli Air Force conducted a series of airstrikes on targets near Burj al-Shamali in southern Lebanon. The IDF claims to have destroyed more than 45 Hezbollah rocket launchers in southern Lebanon over the past week.
11:00 – Strike on Lebanon
Lebanese sources report that the Israeli Air Force attacked positions near Zebdin, in southern Lebanon, as well as in the Al-Hiam area.
10:00 – UAV interception
The IDF reports that a drone was intercepted in Lebanese airspace as it approached the Israeli border. Because the UAV did not cross the border, no alarm was raised.
09:00 – Elimination of the commander of the “Islamic Jihad”
The IDF announced the elimination of Islamic Jihad rocket commander Khalid Abu Dak in the Dir al-Balah humanitarian zone in the centre of the Gaza Strip. The liquidation was carried out with minimal risk to civilians.
08:00 – Offensives in Gaza and Lebanon
The IDF shelled targets in Jabaliya, in northern Gaza, and Aqabat Jabr, south of Jericho. Lebanese sources report Israeli Air Force strikes on Naqurah and Tayr Harf in southern Lebanon.
07:00 – Shelling in Beirut
Lebanese sources report that the Israeli Air Force conducted strikes in the area of Haret Kreik in southern Beirut. Further strikes were carried out in the areas of al-Hadat and al-Kafaa. At the same time, the IDF continued attacks in Jabaliya in the northern Gaza Strip.
06:00 – Intense shelling in Gaza
According to sources in Gaza, Israeli artillery and air force shelled areas in northwestern Nusairat, al-Bureij and Rafah. At least 25 people were reportedly killed overnight.
05:00 – Strikes in southern Gaza Strip
The IDF carried out airstrikes against targets in the al-Janinah area in eastern Rafah. Local sources reported new civilian casualties as a result of shelling in the Shujaiya area.
04:00 – Active hostilities in the West Bank
The IDF conducted operations in Jalqamus, eastern Shema and Beituniya. In Shechem, armed clashes with local militants were reported.
03:00 – Explosions in the Gaza Strip
The Israeli military reported the destruction of buildings in the northern district of Nusairat. Fighting also took place in Jabaliya.
02:00 – Alarm in Haifa
Alarms were sounded in Haifa and surrounding communities. At least five explosions were heard, and rocket debris was seen in some areas.
01:00 – Losses in Gaza
Sources report the deaths of two people as a result of Israeli airstrikes on a house in Dir al-Balah and in the al-Mawassi area near Khan Younis.

Sources report Israeli Air Force strikes in Shujaiya, Beit Lahiyeh and four settlements near Bint Jbeil in southern Lebanon.
