Today, 24 November 2024, marks the 415th day of the Iron Swords War, which Israel has been waging against terrorist organisations in the Gaza Strip, Judea, Samaria, Lebanon, and Syria since 7 October 2023. According to the Time Ukraine Israel portal, citing Newsru.co.il, the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) continue fighting in southern Lebanon and operations in Gaza. During the day, terrorist groups, including Hezbollah and other Iranian proxies, carried out a series of attacks, in particular, attacking the northern and central regions of Israel.

Air raid sirens sounded in the border settlements of Shul and Shomer, as well as in the cities of Safed and Kiryat Bialik. Colonel Avihai Edrai, the head of the IDF Arabic-language spokesperson, warned residents of the al-Hadas and Burj al-Barajneh neighbourhoods in southern Beirut of a planned attack on Hezbollah targets.

Over the course of an hour, approximately 20 rocket launches from Lebanon into the Galilee were recorded, some of which were intercepted, but some were hit. The villages of Dovev, Sasa and others in the Upper Galilee were on alert. In Haifa, a direct hit was made on a residential building. Rocket alarms were sounded in the Kiryat Shmona neighbourhood and Kibbutz Manara.

The Magen David Adom (MADA) ambulance service reported several injuries as a result of rocket attacks in the northern and central regions. One man in the Upper Galilee is in serious condition, and three others were injured in the shelling of Haifa. In the centre of Israel, a woman in her 70s was injured by smoke. The IDF recorded about 30 rocket launches.

Central Israeli areas, including Tel Aviv, Ramat Gan and Herzliya, were targeted by rocket attacks from Lebanon. Although most of the rockets were intercepted, some damaged homes and cars in Petah Tikva. “Hezbollah claimed responsibility for the attacks, claiming an attack on a military facility in Tel Aviv.

Tzeva Adom sirens sounded in Kiryat Shmona and other settlements in the north. In Idmit and Arab al-Aramsha, which are located near the border with Lebanon, the alert was again issued.

New rocket attacks were recorded from the north of Israel. On the evening of 23 November, the Israeli Air Force attacked the Jusiah checkpoint on the border between Lebanon and Syria, which Hezbollah used to smuggle Iranian weapons. Sirens sounded in the areas of Metula, Meron and other settlements in the Upper Galilee.

Siren in Kiryat Shmona and surrounding areas. The IDF spotted about 25 rockets being launched, some of which landed in open countryside, others were intercepted.

About 30 rockets were fired from Lebanon into the Upper and Western Galilee, some of which were intercepted, but some hit their targets. A 51-year-old woman was wounded in Ma’alot Tarshiyeh and taken to Galil Hospital in Nahariya.

The centre of Israel has come under fire again. In the morning, six rockets were launched from Lebanon, five of which were intercepted and one fell in the open. A building was destroyed in the village of Givat Ada.
On the 415th day of the conflict, IDF military operations continue on various fronts, and terrorist groups, including Hezbollah, are actively shelling both northern and central Israel, causing casualties and significant damage.
