Lod, 24 November 2024 – A car explosion on Sokolov Street in Lod resulted in serious injuries to a 30-year-old woman. The victim suffered serious burns as a result of the powerful detonation, which was followed by a massive fire. The incident occurred on Sunday morning, and the woman was rushed to Asaf a-Rofeh Hospital. According to paramedics, her condition is critical. The explosion is likely linked to escalating violence between Arab criminal clans. Only two months ago, a similar incident took place in the neighbouring city of Ramli, killing one person and injuring 12 others. The police suggest that it was another explosion in the context of criminal disputes.

Six days ago, another car bombing occurred in Petah Tikva, killing a 30-year-old man and injuring a 28-year-old man in the lower extremities. Like the previous explosions, this incident indicates that criminal conflicts continue in Israel, with extremely dangerous consequences for local residents.
