Ukrainians who have reached the age of 18 as of 1 December 2024 may receive a one-off financial assistance of UAH 1,000. The relevant Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 1330 was adopted on 22 November 2024.
The assistance is provided under the Winter Support pilot project based on the All-Ukrainian Economic Platform “Made in Ukraine”. The source of funding is a special fund of the state budget.
How to apply
The application can be submitted via the Diia mobile application from 1 December 2024 to the end of January 2025. To do this, you must:
- Have a taxpayer registration number.
- Download the Diia mobile application, go through electronic identification and confirm your stay in Ukraine.
- Select the “Winter support” service in the Diia app and create an application.
- If necessary, open a special account for crediting funds.
For people over 60 years of age, people with disabilities of groups 1 and 2, as well as recipients of social assistance, the funds will be paid through Ukrposhta.
What you can spend your money on
The money received can be used for:
- payment for services from the list approved by the government;
- purchase of military domestic government bonds;
- financing of measures related to the national security, defence and reconstruction of Ukraine.
The funds must be used by 31 December 2025.
Assistance for children
One of the parents or guardian is entitled to receive the allowance for each child, provided that the child’s birth information is in the electronic register.
