Wednesday, 27 November 2024, is the 418th day of the Iron Swords War, which Israel has been waging against terrorist groups in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, Judea and Samaria since 7 October 2023. According to the Time Ukraine Israel portal, citing Newsru.co.il, the fighting continues even after the ceasefire was established.

On this day, the Israeli army continued to carry out targeted strikes against terrorists, while working to ensure the safety of civilians.

Chronology of events: 27 November 2024

03:00
A ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon has been established. Lebanese sources report IDF airstrikes on targets in Bekaa, Aita al-Sha’ab, al-Qawzah and Hanina.

04:00
The IDF has completed operations in Lebanon. The main targets of the attacks were Hezbollah military bases, including weapons production facilities and headquarters in Tyre and Nabatiyeh. Refugees from southern Lebanon begin to return home.

05:00
In the Gaza Strip, the Israeli Air Force continues to strike Hamas targets in the north, in particular in Beit Lahiya and near the Kamal Aduan hospital. Three people were killed.

The Syrian Red Cross reports six people killed in strikes near the Ad Dabousiya border crossing between Lebanon and Syria.

IDF forces enter Al-Faraa, south of Tubas. At the same time, artillery shelling continues in Gaza near Beit Lahiya.

Two people were killed and several wounded in a strike in the Tal al-Zatar area of Jabaliyah.

Israeli drones are spotted flying over the villages of Marjayoun and al-Hardali (southern Lebanon). “Hezbollah accuses Israel of violating the ceasefire.

The IDF reports opening fire on suspects in southern Lebanon to prevent violations of agreements.

In Judea, IDF engineer troops demolished the house of a terrorist responsible for the murder of three Israeli police officers on 1 September 2024. Active fighting continues in northern Gaza. As a result of the operation, a key Hamas terrorist, Murad Rajoub, involved in a 2002 terrorist attack, was killed.

Operations in Lebanon

By the morning, Israeli forces had attacked more than 200 Hezbollah targets, including launchers, headquarters and weapons production facilities. The strikes were aimed at neutralising Hezbollah leaders, including Jafar Ali Samassi, the organiser of the drone and missile launches.

27 November was the day when Israel combined diplomatic efforts to establish a ceasefire with Lebanon with continued active operations in the Gaza Strip and Judea. Despite the agreement, the IDF has not stopped operations aimed at destroying the terrorist threat.
