Evacuation of children in Donetsk region: ukrinform.
As of 27 November, 174 children from 110 families remain in 22 settlements of Donetsk Oblast subject to the forced evacuation of children with their parents or guardians. This was reported by Time Ukraine Israel, citingSuspilne.
Situation in the communities
At the briefing, representatives of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration (RMA), Dmitry Petlin, head of the operational duty service, and Yulia Ryzhakova, acting head of the children’s service, spoke about the current situation:
- Lyman community: 1 child;
- Illinivska hromada: 5 children;
- Kostiantynivska hromada: 4 children;
- Pokrovska hromada: 143 children;
- Komarska community: 21 children.
Evacuation results for the week
Over the past week, we have managed to evacuate 161 children from 108 families:
- Four children were evacuated from the Illinivska community (two from Illinivka and Berestok).
- There is 1 child from Myrnohrad community.
- Sixteen children from 11 families were taken from Kostyantynivka, including children found during the inspections.
- 111 children from 73 families were evacuated from the Pokrovske community. Most of them were evacuated from the following settlements: Kotlyne (18 children), Zvirove (17), Uspenivka (10) and others.
- Twenty-nine children from 19 families were taken from Komarska community, most of them from Voskresenka (17 children).
General situation in Donetsk region
According to Dmitry Petlin, a total of 321,000 people remain in the Donetsk region. About 56,000 people, including 379 children, remain in the settlements where active hostilities are ongoing.
Dmytro Pozharsky, head of the social services division of the Donetsk Regional State Administration’s Department of Social Protection, said that the number of people willing to evacuate has dropped significantly. Over the past week, only 35 people have been resettled in Dnipropetrovs’k region, while another 38 people with limited mobility have been evacuated.
The evacuation situation in the Donetsk region remains tense. Despite the authorities’ efforts, a significant number of children are still at risk. However, the gradual evacuation of residents from dangerous areas gives hope for a safe future for every family.
