Russian troops continue intense fighting in various frontline areas, launching large-scale attacks using aircraft, artillery, multiple rocket launchers and kamikaze drones. Over the past day, 157 combat engagements took place. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on 28 November.
Over the past day, the enemy carried out 21 air strikes, dropped 39 guided bombs, fired almost 4,800 times, including 154 times from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 1,672 kamikaze drones.
Attacks by direction:
- Kharkiv sector: the enemy stormed the positions of Ukrainian forces 5 times in the areas of Vovchansk and Tykhyi.
- Kupiansk sector: 17 attacks were recorded near Kolisnykivka, Zahryzove, Zelenyi Hai and Kruhliakivka.
- Liman sector: 4 attacks in the areas of Hrekivka, Novoyehorivka and Torske.
- Kramatorsk sector: one attack in the area of Bila Hora.
- Toretsk sector: 6 attacks, including the use of up to 10 guided bombs.
- In thePokrovsk sector, our defenders repelled 37 attacks near Myrolyubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Zhovte and other localities.
- Kurakhove sector: 39 attacks in the areas of Sontsivka, Berestky, Kurakhove and Yelizavetivka.
- The Vremivsk sector: 18 attacks with air support near Trudove, Rozdolne and Novodarivka.
- Dnipro sector: the enemy made 6 attacks, but suffered significant losses due to the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ resolute response.
- Volyn and Polissya directions: no signs of formation of offensive groups were detected.
In addition, Ukrainian defenders continue to successfully repel attacks in the Kursk region, where 18 assaults were recorded over the past day.
