On the morning of 28 November, Russian troops attacked the facilities of Naftogaz. This was reported by the company’s press service.
“This morning, the enemy attacked Naftogaz Group facilities once again. Fortunately, no one was injured. The attack will not affect the provision of services to Ukrainian consumers and clients of the Group,” the statement said.
The company’s specialists, together with the relevant services, are already working to eliminate the consequences of the shelling.
Attack on Ukraine’s energy sector
Today’s attack on Naftogaz facilities was part of a large-scale attack by Russian troops on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. Emergency power cuts were introduced in several regions.
This is not the first time that Ukraine’s energy sector facilities have been targeted by the aggressor. Despite the constant attacks, Ukrainian energy companies continue to ensure a stable supply of services to consumers.
Ukrainians are calling for unity and readiness to respond to the possible consequences of such attacks.
