Ukrainian airborne assault troops reported the successful detention of 11 Russian soldiers in the Kursk region. The prisoners were former prisoners who had signed contracts with the Russian army. The information was confirmed on the Telegram channel of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces.

Progress of the operation

According to the Ukrainian military, the Russian command sent poorly trained and poorly equipped soldiers to the assault. The occupiers were tasked with capturing a settlement controlled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, where Russian civilians are also present.

During the battle, some Russian soldiers were killed, while others fled. Those who survived and tried to hide were detained by a unit of the Galician Brigade.
