The Bloomberg-Sagol Centre at Tel Aviv University will fund projects aimed at reconstruction and support for local communities. The centre was founded by Michael Bloomberg and his Israeli partner Yossi Sagol.
To date, the Centre has engaged more than 60 experts who are working on the implementation of recovery projects in 40 local councils. James Anderson, a representative of the Bloomberg Foundation, said in a letter to local community leaders that their foundation is actively considering applications from the affected areas, trying to cover as many initiatives as possible.
